Hi!
My name is Kayla. I always have a pile of books on my nightstand and this crazy idea that I might actually read them. Animal charity organizations are my weak spot. Exercise is the one thing that keeps me sane (okay, mostly sane). When life gets chaotic, I turn to baking to reconnect with the simplicities of life.
I work with young adults who are trying to figure out who they are now that life is no longer laid out for them. Young adulthood is a really exciting time of life because the world is your oyster, but young adulthood is also extremely overwhelming because well...the world is your oyster! I enjoy working with this population because I've been there. Although my experience might have been different from yours, I know the importance of clarifying goals while simultaneously learning to love where you're at right now.
I have my master's degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. When I'm not meeting with clients, you can find me adjunct teaching psychology courses for a few different universities.
All my best,
Kayla
